Dean Wilson Apologizes for Blocking Ken Roczen | Racer X Rapid News
Following a dramatic finish to Saturday night's Houston 3 Supercross, Dean Wilson has issued an apology to Ken Roczen and his fans after blocking the German who was leading the race with two laps to go. Wilson appeared to ignore several blue flags ultimately pushing Roczen back into Cooper Webb's clutches who pounced on the opportunity.
Roczen has since responded to Wilson's apology earlier today as both parties look to put this moment behind them.
Hear about that and more in this edition of Racer X Rapid News.

Amazing last-lap action and some controversy at Monster Energy Supercross' third round--but could it also symbol a return of the old favorites to the front? Can the new contenders fight back? The Weege Show post race wrap up is presented by Race Tech 's Gold Valves. Make your suspension plusher with better bottoming resistance and better traction, all made and engineered in the USA. Go to RaceTech.com for more.

Weege Show: Houston 3 Preview, Roczen Penalty and More
Jason Weigandt walks and talks through the Garagemahal again to cover the wide-open action to start Monster Energy Supercross. Normally round three provides the ingredients for one of the best races of the year, but we don't even need Round Three Theory this year to find great racing. This nutty 2021 field can provide it at any race.
The Weege Show pre-race preview is brought to you by the Honda Talon Sport Side-by-Side. With gobs of wheel travel, 1000cc of power and an exclusive dual-clutch transmission, the Talon is almost as fun as the vehicles inside this garage.

Cianciarulo & Sexton Crash, Forkner & Hampshire Clash | Houston 2 Race eXamination
There were many key moments to both main events on Tuesday in Houston, but we wanted to highlight a few of the lesser talked about things from the race thus far.
In the 450SX class, Adam Cianciarulo's crash in the sand might have been a precursor to what was ultimately Chase Sexton's demise in his crash two laps later. Dylan Ferrandis took advantage of the sand to make a late race pass or two, while Eli Tomac's 35th career victory moves him to sole possession of 6th place all time.
The 250SX class saw Austin Forkner and RJ Hampshire get together early in the main event, with both sides having very different opinions of the contact. Mitchell Oldenburg uses a slide job pass to make up a spot on Max Vohland late in the race. Jett Lawrence claimed his first career victory and immediately missed a high five. All that and more on this edition of Race Examination.

Ken Roczen Penalized at Houston 2 | Racer X Rapid News
Honda HRC's Ken Roczen was among four riders who were penalized for jumping on a red cross flag during the main event at Houston 2. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna's Jason Anderson, SmarTop/Bullfrog Spas/MotoConcepts Honda's Vince Friese, and Team Tedder's Martin Davalos were all guilty of the infraction.
Despite a protest of the penalty, the judgement was upheld docking all four riders four points each in the championship standings. The red cross flag was displayed after Chase Sexton crashed out of the lead. Sexton has also provided a quick update on his health heading into Houston 3.

Eli Tomac Eyes Houston 2 Rebound | Racer X Rapid News
Monster Energy Kawasaki's Eli Tomac got his season started on the wrong foot with a 13th place finish at the opening round in Houston on Saturday. Now he looks to put it behind him and move forward for the second round this Tuesday.
Tomac and Vince Friese found each other twice during the main event on Saturday, but even Friese is ready to move past the altercations and get back on the racetrack.
In other news, Adam Cianciarulo continues to recover from off-season surgery in his elbow to repair a pinched nerve and was able to hold on for fourth at the opener. Justin Bogle plans on racing Tuesday night following a practice crash at Houston 1. And Shane McElrath may be sidelines for as long as the first six rounds of the championship while he heals from a dislocated shoulder.
Hear all about that and more in the Racer X Rapid News Flash.
